Was up in KC over the weekend and was told about this place Called Gus's and how good the fried chicken was. So me and the... family decided to give it a try and I'll tell you, boy they did not disappoint. From the perfect crispy breading to the juicysubtle spice of the chicken soaked/marinated in jalapeño juice ???? ???????? World Famous indeed! The staff is super friendly. But onto the food ???? The chicken has a great spicy kick, but it's so juicy... and tender once you bite into it! We truly enjoyed our dining at Gus's...we ordered the fried green tomatoes & fried chicken, mac n cheese & collard greens.... Everything was a plus! The waiter was informative and attentive. Our 3rd time at this establishment...we will return again! Read more
Had very nice young man was our server. Excellent food. Had the special: 2 chicken beast, baked beans & coleslaw. Also ordered... fried okra (was the best I have had in awhile) so yummy. Service keep our drinks full (truly appreciate this). I don't do spicy,spicy, but the chicken wasn't bad, I dipped in ranch sauce & I was good. Really good chicken, was nice dinner to enjoy.
