Simple name - great food. Heard about them in Thursday Night Football. The ribs & barbecue beans were my favorites. Dry rub on... the ribs made these beef ribs extra tasty. This spot for a Thursday at 5 pm was not busy, and we sat at a table right away. Wealso had the whiskey flavored bread pudding - also a great treat to try. Burnt ends - I like them more crispy BURNT! Some of the best barbecue I ever had. The pork ribs with the burnt ends were delicious. The Kansas City sauce I put on the... ribs and burnt ends was really good. Absolutely phenomenal. Unreal! Amazing! Hands down the best BBQ I?ve ever had. I ate here late on a Tuesday night, and there was... still a 30 minute wait (a good sign of good eats!) Pro tip for any anti-line people: if there is a line when you arrive, place an online curbside pick up order, get out of the... line, go have a drink across the street at the taco shop, then walk back over to pick your order up on foot and eat at theoutdoor tables! The burnt ends were exceptional. I've never had burnt ends without sauce already on them, and these wereheavenly. The ribs stayed on the bone but were somehow perfectly tender. The potato salad might have been the best I've evertried. The salad with brisket, chicken, and turkey was just the right amount for anyone looking for a taste of BBQ without theheavy feeling. And the sauce. The honey mustard dressing was on point. The regular and spicy BBQ sauces were delish but Idiscovered dipping in both was my favorite way to enjoy them. Zero complaints. Best BBQ spot in KC! I have tried them all and this place is in a league of its own. Loved every bite of my sandwich and the... fries were perfect along with it. Expect to stand in line for at least 15 minutes but it is worth the wait. Will definitely beback to try more things on the menu. 5 stars! Read more
