THE ABSOLUTE BEST KEY LIME PIE! Have been searching for years to find the best one & about a year ago my husband & I happened to... walk by our local grocery store bakery & saw a delicious looking Key Lime pie(my fave) & Coconut Cream Pie(his favorite) &decided to give them a try. That ended our searches! We've bought 2 pies or more/week since then! However, since this pandemic,the flavors & quality of the pies suffered for 6 or more months now; yet we STILL purchased & ate them- even with the burnt & @times, soggy crust, mealy/gritty texture of the filling, & flat(maybe frostbitten) whipped cream that used to be fluffy,pearlescent, & to die for!???????? The past 2 or 3 months, we bought what our stores had left & now they're completely out ofstock. From what I understand, these 2 pies have been recalibrated & are ready to be shipped from the warehouse today & arebeing prepared to be shipped out to stores again! We thought they were being delivered today so that's been a bigdisappointment. PLEASE get these 2 pies shipped! We've been waiting about 2 months for them to be back in the stores! I'd beencalling all Albertson's w/in 20 miles of us today thinking maybe they hadn't been delivered yet & was told by the 5th store Icalled to check back on Thurs. or Fri. Here's hoping they're back in stock???????????????? Thursday or Friday! We NEED ourpies ASAP, pretty please!!! My husband called your company about the quality issue a few months back & received an indifferentreply from the employee. I do hope that has gotten better as well. I had a craving for a slice of Tippins Coconut Cream pie. As I remember them they were super creamy with a crispy tasty crust. ... I received my slices of pie and opened the container to see the poor presentation, but I was ok with this anticipating thedecadent savory deliciousness I was about to enjoy.
