I'm so happy I came across this hotel! It was definitely a last minute endeavor as I found it right before we made the drive... from Chicago on T-mobile Travel. I didn't book through the site just in case we were too tired and we ended up making it outhere just fine. ANYWAYS.. I just have to give *Joyce* a shout out for an effortless check-in experience with probably the bestcustomer service I've ever had. If you catch her, consider yourself lucky! The room we got with a king bed is perfect. It'sspacious and has two desk areas for being able to work remotely. Great establishment! The rooms have been updated since my last stay. They are very nice and clean and the staff was all super... friendly. The casino was large enough that I didn't feel overwhelmed by all the smoke and the crowds. It's one of the few casinothat still offers a variety of restaurants too. Even though I do miss the days of the Grand buffets. I would like to the Kansascity casinos revamp the buffet experience and maybe prepare for a soft launch in the future. Read more

The rooms were nice and clean, the staff were very friendly. The slots were not hot for me lost $500. But I did manage to have... a bite at PHO?s Vietnamese restaurant just follow around the inside of the casino cashier desk to find it. I had egg rolls andbeef fried rice, big portions a little pricey, but good. They were open late 11pm for a weekday. Read more

Slot maintenance is pretty good. Hasn't gone downhill like some other places. Great selection of slots so you'll never be bored... of them. They also have a little arcade which is a nice touch. More low-stakes slots than other places means you won't run outof money as quickly unless you're max-betting or hitting the high-limit slots. Read more

Went with my mother for her birthday. Both of us won nearly triple our money within the first 75 minutes of hitting the slot... machines. Since we walked in expecting to lose, we played off of our winnings and pocketed what we came in with. Took nearlyseven hours to lose what we were up by and we were okay with that! Provided hours of fun and some much needed mother/daughtertime! We're already planning our next visit. Seemed like staff was on top of sanitization as it appeared someone was constantlystationed near sections of slot machines ready to clean. If someone got up from the machine, they were there wiping them downand emptying ash trays within mere seconds. Bathrooms were clean as well despite some graffiti some woman wrote on one of theirbathroom stall doors (Pictured below.) Thermostat was set to a comfortable temperature so we never got too hot despite both ofus wearing hoodies and the bottom casino floor being packed all night. We cannot wait to go back and try our hand again!Although we will probably choose to walk while we're still up next time. Also, if anyone working there sees this, you might wantto remove this from your bathroom stall.
