Don?t let the bad reviews below deceive you! I would have missed a great experience and food, had I listened to the comments... below. This place has great food with a lot of flavor! Additionally, we enjoyed the atmosphere, they play great modern Spanishmusic and not the typical music that most Spanish food restaurants play from decades ago. I recommend the chicken entrees whichare very flavorful and have a grill zest to them. Read more
I have driven by many times but never eaten here. I don't live in the area anymore but was back visiting family and craving... Mexican food. Ordered takeout and staff was very friendly and accommodating for the extras I ordered. I got a combo platterwith a chicken enchilada, beef taco and tamale. I went there because my friend whose parents are Mexican recommended the place. I asked for street tacos de carnitas. I was told... their tacos are different and showed me the menu. I selected the tacos that have guacamole onions and cilantro. I asked thatthey hold on the guacamole. I received an order of 5 soft shell tacos. The pork was similar to a fried pork chop caught in smallpieces. The issue here is that you get ONE PIECE OF LIME. That?s it. Five tacos one piece of lime. What made the tacos notedible is the large pieces of onions. The restaurant was practically empty. The onions for this kind of tacos should be mincednot caught in rings like you are having a hamburger. Needless to say I ate three of the tacos got gastric reflux due to thelarge pieces of onions and had to go to the store to get lime for my husbands tacos. You get a small order of chips an a verytasteless watery sauce for dipping. If you want a pork chop sandwich with raw onions this is the place to go. They call it ataco. I don?t think so. Prices in alignment with fine Mexican Cuisine. Looks are deceiving. 12.00 for a scoop of Guacamole served in 1/2 of an avocado... skin. Their were cleaning products and a trashcan at a table as you walked in the door. Visually not fine dining. Food was notvery good. Not worth 42.00 for 2 meals and 2 waters! Read more
