For an icon of the coffee shop scene in KC, Messenger is dropping the ball! Excited for the sweet potato latte, I made the trip... just to find out there?s dairy in it! and the menu doesn't even list it as an ingredient! Big L for messenger. Otherwise ifyou've been here you know it?s a beautiful store with cute knickknacks, good espresso, and nice employees. I hope Messengerconsiders expanding their customer basis to those transitioning away from animal products, and you should be transparent withyour ingredients. Read more
it?s about $15 for two drinks, overall nice place! got the iced matcha & a blended mocha, both tasted great!
Do not go to this messenger location. I think they just stuck it in the plaza to hit the tourists who don?t really know coffee.... I tried to get a pour over, per usual for a messenger coffee shop and on their menu, and the barista said we don?t have pourovers which is absurd. He was the only one in there so if he was new then they shouldn?t have left him there alone. Messengerisn?t supposed to be Starbucks. I left and went to Oddly Correct instead. I expect more out of a speciality shop but I thinkthis is just this location so go to the others ones. Read more
