I met up with a friend at the sandbox and enjoyed a great steak meal with two sides and a drink for under $30 (before tip). The... grilled chicken dinner also looked delicious! The brunch was of average quality. I would have preferred fresh cracked scrambled eggs, but I understand it's a bar and grill... type of place, so brunch food is not a huge profit to invest in. The biscuits and heavy were delicious. The atmosphere aroundbrunch time is nice, though, and the outside sitting area is a plus. They appear to have a lot of engaging offerings like bingonight, pickle ball, and volleyball, but we didn't enjoy that part yet. We'll be back! Read more
If you like being ignored this is the place for you. Been stopping in here since they first opened and it's more bad than good.... I like the feeling of isolation and they really nail it. The food has always been great. The cook is the real hero here. The bartender is really eager to start a new tab, but not concerned about anyone after that. Sat about as close as one could for frontrow service. I finally had to ask for my tab after sitting there 30 minutes or more. A small group came in looking for theirwaitress twice. Everyone I've talked to about this place has the same story. If you go there to get away from isolation at home,you can expect more once you're there. The beer isn't very cold either. Read more
