All I can say is wow. The owner, Tony, served us personally and everything was above and beyond. I had a walleye sandwich with a... home made tartar sauce. The fish was light and flaky and tasted fresh! The breading was complimentary and not overwhelming atall. Wife had nachos. The chips were solid and the toppings were plentiful and tasty. Two others shared a Chipotle chicken wrapwhich was also well received. The fries were hot, light, crispy, and tasty! Four kids each had Alfredo which was home madequality and huge portions! Then Tony brought out the big guns- the pictured desert which was an oreo cheesecake straight out ofheaven. Will definitely be ordering for future events/ birthdays. Overall, it was an absolutely A+ experience. Tony is the typeof business owner you feel great about supporting, as his passion is evident in the quality and service. The prices were on parfor the typical bar and grill, but the quality was unimpeachable. No question that it is worth a short drive from Rochester forthis type of dining experience. Update: went back after taking the kids to the fair (with the food prices there, you may aswell go sit down somewhere) and we were again rewarded with awesome food. It's clear that they have their process down pat whenit comes to breaded/ fried foods, as the breading is always light, crispy, and not drenched in oil. The sweet chili wings couldhave had a little extra heat but I'm sure that's where most prefer them. They were done to perfection, with a crisp outer shell,and a good amount of juicy, flavorful chicken on the bones. Family from as far away as Alaska and as close as The Cities gathered in Kasson to have services for our 99 yr old... mother/grandmother/great grandmother/aunt. Staying at the hotel next to Events were so happy and pleased to have such a nice,friendly place to gather each day for drinks, appetizers and dinners. Tony does a great job! We held our daughters wedding reception at Events by Saker in August of 2021. The place was a hit! Everyone loved the venue and... LOVED the food! Being able to get the food, venue, bar, and music taken care of, all at one place, was such a load off ourminds, and made planning the wedding reception so much simpler. It really saved us a lot of time, too. The staff are all reallyfriendly and Tony was very accommodating, too. Would 450% recommend Events by Saker to anyone! Read more
