Kura Revolving Sushi Bar has a nice concept. I had to request the person to clean the seating area prior to sitting us down. Who... seats you at a dirty spot??? The sushi on the conveyor belt looks unorganized or deconstructed. Inorder to get freshed madesushi, just order what you want to from key pad. It comes to your seat. The person next to me grabbed my food by accident. Thecashier lady didn't know how to change the bill after she tried multiple times. I was with the lady next to me, so I just agreedto pay part of her bill, since the cashier couldn't get it right. I feel like this place has space for improvement both withstaff and food. The little robot that brings your drinks it gimmicky, but cute once. I am glad, I tried this place once. Read more

you know it's a hit when the kids' graduation dinner request is revolving sushi! one of the very few places we go where everyone... absolutely loves every aspect, from toddler to adult; from vibe to food. getting 15 plates down the chute is a must so u get asurprise toy! one time it was a sushi lego set in the ball that descended the ramp in fanfare! the boys spend most of the timeenthusiastically scoping the future track for their desired dishes. my advice is sit near the start of the conveyer belt so uget first pick before other patrons if u can help it. but whatever u do, don't forget the SAKE!! First time trying out Kura Sushi and had a great experience while leaving satisfied from the yummy food! There was a large... selection of sushi, handrolls, and additional Japanese dishes such as Ramen or Tempura. You can grab plates as they pass by offthe conveyor belt or order directly from the kitchen to your table which was surprisingly quick! The staff was fairly attentiveand the place was well kept. They also have periodic collaboration which result in prizes you win as you turn in your plates! The current collab is with Sanrio! Read more

This is a pretty cool place and some thing fairly new in Katy, Texas. While revolving sushi bars have been all over the world... for many years this is new for Katy. The restaurant is still fairly new. My party dined on a Friday night at 7 PM. We checked infairly easily with the iPad checking system at the front door. The wait time was one hour. The check in system connects to yourphone so it send you a text when you?re about to be called and when your number is called. Once it was our turn, we were takento a table in the back half of the restaurant. We asked the hostess how everything worked and instead of answering us, she toldus to wait for our server. Our ?sever? then came and explained everything to us. It was a bit confusing initially. Some writteninstructions would have been nice. Many of the items on the revolving sushi bar were taken by the people seated in front of us.So we had to wait quite often. The sushi was good, but nothing fabulous. I suppose it?s what you should expect of a revolvingsushi bar. Many if the rolls had names, but no explanation as to what was in them. Also, the special ordering menu changes. Take note. If you see something you want, get it before the menu changes. I did you the restrooms and felt like they needed someattention. I did notice that, at 8pm, the 7pm cleaning must have been skipped. This place is a cool concept. It?s worth avisit. It won?t be in my regular rotation though. Read more

Tamago is my favorite sushi. But the tamago here was very delicious. The food was served almost immediately upon order. We... didn't make a separate reservation. There were a lot of people, but I was able to get the seat information right away. The foodwas generally delicious. Read more
