I recently moved to Katy TX from Sacramento CA. I was extremely happy to go to a place where I could get local brews. This place... looked awesome and it has a great variety of beers. Being a newbie you want to try a couple of options before buying a pint or asix pack. I reached to the bar, ask for help on what to drink and the person working there was extremely rude. I asked him ifthey have growlers, he told me yes, I said I want to get one but I need to taste two beers before deciding which one to get andhe told me NO I'm not supposed to give you samples. He told me to buy a pint, taste it and then tell him if I like it or not. Iwas ready to buy a growler and have a good time so I asked for the glass just to try the beer. It was good so I asked for agrowler to go and then, after all this show he offered me instead 16 ounce can....because its cheaper than the glass growler. Itold him I wanted the glass growler because I was coming back. He then stars to lecture me.... ohhh you want the 16 ounce canbecause its cheaper than the growler, and you want to come Tuesdays because instead of 12 is 6. I went to this place to supportlocal breweries and to spend money on good beer but it seems like they don't really want this by denying samples. Well, trainyour bartenders to be nice, give small samples of your BELOW AVERAGE beers, get some recognition nationwide and then ask me tobuy a full pint to get my business. Took my kids here and met-up with some friends not too long ago. Had a blast. So many great food options, live music was great,... and tons of beer to choose from. We stayed way longer then we though we would just because of how much fun everyone was having.Great place. Read more
