Looking for something a little different when you dine out? Most restaurants in the Katy, Texas area offer a standardized... approach to drinking and dining away from home. But one establishment that is a little different than the rest is Pablo’sRestaurant and Club. You know Pablo’s is different the moment you walk inside. It doubles as a restaurant and night club andit’s common to hear music playing when you visit. The lighting is nice, and I like how the restaurant side of theestablishment features tables with upholstered, high back chairs, giving it a look of sophistication. The menu at Pablo’sconsists of TexMex, Indian, and Mediterranean foods. The choices are many, perhaps a few too many, because it makes it difficultto make up your mind. Food is, however, hit and miss. The Chicken Tikka and the Empanadas were pretty tasty but some of theIndian foods my family and I have tried, like the Chicken Choila, were not the best and I can think of multiple Indianrestaurants in the Katy area with better Indian cuisine. Service at Pablo’s could use some improvement. It took too long toget served our food and the wait staff took too long to check back on our table. Had they checked back more frequently, theycould have easily scored additional drink sales. And speaking of drinks, the wine selection is more than adequate, but the beerneeds more options. Like I said, the atmosphere at Pablo’s Restaurant and Club is interesting and I love the colors, lights,etc. However, it seems to have a hard time straddling these differences. The restaurant, while it looks nice, doesn’t have adress code that it follows so it is common to find people overdressed and underdressed sitting right next to each other. Give this place a high 3. It’s really pretty and the food is good and tasty but there were too many little things that kept me... from giving a higher score. Service was lacking. I know many places are struggling with getting people to work but there wasonly us and one other table tonight and service was lacking. Took a long time to take our order, we had to ask for a wine menu,our menus were never picked up after ordering and we had to place them on the floor next to us when food came to make room forour food. The food was really good and tasty, except I like my food served hot, food was room temperature and got cold reallyquick. Wine was good, had to pour it ourselves and it took a long while for anyone to check on us, refill water, and waited fora while before we’re got our check. We had a party of 20 for my sisters graduation and the costumer service was exceptional! They have a big variety of food to... choose from. I had the Patacon and it was very good (a little dry but great flavor). I highly recommend the MushroomRisotto!!!!!! Delicious. I'm giving 4 stars because I do think the food it's a little pricey. 05/2022; First of all, Amazing service. They seated our reservation party of 20. They let us setup an extra table to decorate... for our graduation dinner celebration. They have a great food selection. I had Polar, (an imported venezuelan beer), spicy wingswith the chicken alfredo pasta. My wife had the tequeños with the crispy mini arepas????????????.
