Phenomenal food! Traveling across the country with my family and stopped here for dinner. Wednesday is the potato special and... the reviews said to get that if you can above all else. My husband and I are in a food coma now. Need to drive another 4 hoursbut want to nap. The baked beans are out of this world! I want this recipe! Hands down the best BBQ around. I?ve traveled the world and had BBQ everywhere I?ve gone and this is the best right in my home... town!! I?ve never had a bad meal at S.A.M. QUE. Try the Brisket and/or burnt ends! So much flavor. The waffle fries are bomb andso are the pub pickles! On Wednesdays they do loaded ?Spuds? which are amazing. If you miss the spuds on Wednesday the loadednachos are great as well! I also have to mention the homemade sauces. The ?STU? sauce has some heat and lots of flavor. The?Raspberry Chipotle? is what I would call sweet heat. You can really taste the raspberry AND chipotle. Spread a little on theTexas Toast to top off the meal. 6.5/10 The beans are great. Nice complex smoky/subtly spicy flavor. Sweet and savory but not too much of either. The potato... salad wasn't anything special. The pulled pork was really good quality. The spicy sauce is REALLY HOT. It looks like a chilipaste almost. Mustard is decent. Really clean bathrooms. Nothing special on the menu but great food for Nebraska, where you candrive a fat minute without seeing any food. Kearny itself is a cute lil oasis. A bit on the pricey side for the area. Read more
