Would give ZERO stars if I could. I was a returning customer for a while. This particular time I bought a Groupon earlier that... day. I called the bowling ally, the recording says, If you have a Groupon and are coming in within the next hour, stroll on in,only to be told at the desk that the ?fine print? it says you cannot use it for 24 hours. Ok no big deal. We pd full price andbowled. Later that day while having a conversation with an employee I was told they usually do not ask when your Groupon waspurchased. They just let you bowl. Still no big deal, planned on going back anyway (as usual) and could use it then. We havebeen back with a bigger group than the Groupon was for so I just saved it. Not noticing it expired yesterday (Thanksgiving), Icalled today to see if they would honor it and explained all the above as why. I wouldn?t even be in the situation if theemployee didn?t ask when I bought it. I was told NO, they would not even after knowing all of the above. Of course she said shewas a manager and her manager is not in today. Bad business if you ask me. It is only for a two hour bowl. It really was a horrible experience. We made the best of it because it was time with family but the service we received was... offensive. It was like we were bothering the staff by even being there. it was not clean and was definitely overpriced. Bowlinghas always been a big part of my family as an activity we've done for years decades and generations. We decided to do a bowlingouting for my husband's birthday. We invited my sister, her husband all of our kids and the most special guest was ourgrandmother who is 101 years old. She had not been out in a long time because of covid but finally felt comfortable doing anactivity where we could social distance from others. When we got to the counter every single person was rude especially Ryne. Weasked for two lanes side by side and literally had to fight for that. They proceeded to set us up on the lanes however they sawfit instead of giving us the opportunity to set them up as we needed to. When we asked for them to fix it we were greeted withattitude. They never offered shoes even though we paid for them and when we asked if our shoe sizes were needed they rudely andlackadaisically took them not making sure they got them all and acting like it was an inconvenience. When we finally got down tothe lanes the tables and chairs were extremely dirty with spills old tissues, cup stains and was purely disgusting. We went tothe desk to ask for it to be wiped down, waited about 30 minutes and no one came to wipe down. Then we called from the laneasking if someone could come wipe it up and no one came to clean it. Finally I had to go back to the front and ask can I justget a spray bottle and a cloth I'll just do it myself and was again greeted with attitude. We spent a good amount of our timedexperience surrounded by ickiness. During covid this is unacceptable. Way over priced. We spent about $150 for 3 people for 2 hours + food. Food was super expensive. Pizza was probably the worst... I've ever had. Music was way too loud, we couldn't really even talk. The lanes can't auto switch from bumpers to no bumpers, soyou have to pick one or the other. Manager was nice and explained everything to us. Read more
