Was 45 minute wait but worth it because everything is made to order. 3 sets of diners and carryout came in at once so practice... patience people if this happens to you. It's worth waiting for. The flavors, presentation, and amount of food is outstanding.Worth the price. Will be returning. Sweet find. Read more
The fried talapia is so delicious!! Big portions of food.
What a treat! I know very little about African food and this was an eye-opener. I had thieboudjen (fish and rice), attieke... (fermented cassava), fataya (meat turnovers). Everything was excellent, seemed like uncompromising home cooking, portions werehuge, owners were very nice and helpful. I'm really glad that I finally stopped in, I recommend this restaurant highly, ifyou're looking for something out of the ordinary you'll love it. Read more
I've been in Tampa for 3 years and BABATCHE is the best African restaurants no cap. We tried the Guinea Fowl (Pintade) yesterday... and it was amazing! Look, if I drove 45mn to get to that place it says a lot. If you're looking for African homemade cooks(specially Ivory Coast and Senegal) you found the right spot.
