Placed a mobile order while on my way to Home Depot to pick up in the drive through. When I got there, the drive through was... blocked with a car. I went to the door and saw a piece of paper taped to the door saying that they had decided to close early.Being that I had already paid, I knocked and when the employee looked at me she rolled her eyes and pointed to the paper. "But Ialready paid" pointing to my phone. All the employees turned back around and I assumed they realized the mistake and were makingmy drinks, so I waited. Minutes later a girl came to the door and pushed the sign on the door while staring at me. I explainedagain that I had already paid. She told me to "go pick them up at Central" (over 20 blocks away). I said I wasn't going to gothat far and asked if they could just refund me. "You can do it yourself. Figure it out on the app." Well, I couldn't refundmyself & after 20 minutes on the phone with the Starbucks 1-800 number, they solved the refund for me. Been in the serviceindustry for 10 years and understand early closings or meetings or mistakes, but DON'T understand treating a customer this way.This is the closest coffee shop to my house, and this experience was enough to be sure I will never go back. I just had the worst experience at Starbucks Tyrone ever. First off they didn?t know how to take my order which was very simple.... Iced mocha grande and a grande iced white chocolate mocha with no whip cream in both. Second the barista didn?t understand thatI wanted an extra shot of espresso and extra ice and he couldn?t figure it out. Third when I got up to the window to pay, I gavehim a $20 bill for my two grandes, and I get back 5$ bill and the rest in dimes. He laughed because he said he didn?t have any1$ bills?? This location has potential but falls short EVERY time. There is always something wrong (or missing). The employees show no... interest in doing their job and definitely don?t care about the quality of the product or service they provide. They have arguedwith me multiple times about my missing items and make me jump through hoops to make it right. This place is the dumps!!! Doyourself a favor and go to a different Starbucks. Read more
