We like to go and have breakfast at local joints in the area on the weekend. We chose to go here. It's a quaint little joint.... Wasn't to busy when we arrived. Went in took a seat and waited. Nothing, so hubby got up and got us some menus and we waitedsome more. Then others started coming in and they were greeted and brought menus and drinks. While we continued to be ignored!After about 20 minutes of waiting and getting no service we chose to get up and leave. At that point one of the employees saidthanks for coming!?!? Really!?! They might have good food but we will never return because there was no service offered at all! Read more
I have been Herr multiple times recently. The breakfast is phenomenal. This past time I went I ordered this grilled cheese bacon... burger and tater tots. The tater tots were cooked to absolute golden brown perfection and, the burger itself was huge! I reallydon't know how I ate the whole thing. But I did. The Burg Diner Ambiance- well maintained casual diner serving breakfast and lunch. It reminds me of my childhood and how the... staff was always glad to see you when you walked through the door. Location- Diston Heights on 49tg Food- incredibly tastybreakfast entrees from omelettes, pancakes, bacon, ham, eggs Benedict and sausage gravy biscuits. It was all top qualityingredients. Service- top notch service 5 stars plus. The wait staff is simply incredible. Suggestions- don?t changeanything. This is a perfect diner with awesome food and service. The food was amazing, well except the biscuit, they need to work on those. We had a western omelet, eggs, grits, pancakes, ham,... bacon, and hash browns. The coffee was so smooth. The service was so great. Those ladies work so hard and were so delightful!It?s loud in there because every table was taken with people waiting at door for a seat. They don't skimp on anything, plus I had a banana on the side which was a surprise because it wasn't listed onthe menu. The price is very good considering how much food is on the plate. Service was efficient. No theatrics just take theorder and bring it out. I will be returning. Read more
