Great food, good service, reasonable prices, big portions. I had wedding dinner at La Verona and it was perfect. All the guests... were very happy with their meal. I ordered the special dish of the night which is homemade fettuccine and lobster tale. Read more

Where they Shine: The pasta sauce for the eggplant parmesan and lasagna were very flavorful. To be honest, I ate my whole plate... of lasagna. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente in the eggplant parmesan dish. Large portions of food. Take out container wasof the aluminum variety which is great to heat up in the oven later (no Styrofoam). Areas of Opportunity: The baratta appetizerwas just okay as it lacked flavor, and there was no bread served with it (although there was bread and oil for the table). Thedessert was also just okay; nothing to write home about. The menus we both received were old, wrinkled, and discolored from whatappeared to be food stains. Other Information (not used for rating): The restaurant was pretty much empty at 12:30pm on aSunday with staff standing around watching TV. However the place did fill up a lot more about an hour later when the Eagles gamewas on. Coke products with higher syrup and low carbonation. Old fashioned Italian restaurant that could use interior designrefresh / redesign (personal preference, however, with the area being historic I'm not sure on the options there). FinalThoughts: In our trip we ordered the baratta for an appetizer, eggplant parmesan and lasagna for lunch entrees, and theprofiteroles for dessert. Would I go back? If I was in the area yes, but not for the 30 minute drive with better restaurantsaccessible to me in the West Chester area. Read more

It is a big restaurant with a good vibe and atmosphere! The portion of the food is huge. The price is good for its portion.... Staff are friendly and kind. The food by itself is just ok. Overall is a good restaurant in down town and worth trying. Read more

La Verona Italian restaurant is a fine dining staple of Kennett Square. This November they will be proudly celebrating their... 10th anniversary. Located on Main Street, they are a hub for live music, intimate gatherings and authentic Italian cuisineinspired by Northern Italy. We had a wonderful experience dining there, and it was delightful conversing with our waiterAfrim. He was friendly and welcoming and gave excellent recommendations like the roasted artichoke starter with slicedprosciutto and truffle oil. The house salad was paired with a homemade Limoncello dressing which was splendid over the freshmixed greens. Chef Jack's menu is a mix of authentic Italian, fresh seafood and light additions to contrast the rich flavors. Dishes like pappardelle bolognese and tortellini pasticciati are housemade and full of flavor. Don’t leave without trying theTiramisu that Restaurant Guru awarded the best in 2019, On top of that, La Verona has been graced by multiple awards and notablywas rated “Best of the Best” by County Line Magazine 2020 Annual dining award.. You must stop by and celebrate this smalltown gem that is a true expression of Northern Italian cuisine. YUMMY ????. Read more

The people at La Verona are very nice and the service was great. It’s hard to choose what to eat, as everything on the menu... seems like a great option. I had the half roast duck and my wife had the scallops. The scallops were buttery, rich, andperfectly cooked. Everything a good seared scallop should be. The duck was also delicious, not greasy like most duck tends tobe, but not too dry either. Read more
