The destination for bargains! It sounds like an advertisement, but it's true. Unfortunately, we must travel 20 minutes to get a... supermarket, but it is definitely worth the trip. Their variety is extensive and includes a significant bulk section. This bulkregion justifies the trek. Candies, coffee, almonds, pasta, granola, flours, spices, and a great deal more are available.Extensive and always reasonably priced produce. In addition, they include a bakery, a meat counter, a fish counter, a largedairy department, and a vast selection of frozen goods and sweets. I switched to WinCo after a couple years of shopping at Fred Meyer. I got sick of the price-gouging and wanted to start... supporting an employee-owned business with better prices, especially after hearing about the proposed Kroger/Albertsonsmerger. I wish I made the switch a long time ago. The experience at WinCo is so much better. The prices are quite a bit lower onlots of things so you can definitely tell your money goes farther. I found the selection to be more eclectic and interestingtoo. The only downside I saw is the small selection of organic produce, which I like to get for feeding my pet lizard. Read more

Nowhere on the outside of their store, or even at the cash registers, does it tell you that you can't use a credit card. You... have to wait until your entire order is checked, and then it will fail and they'll tell you "cash or debit only," regardless ofwhat you're buying. Well, they do appear to be open 24 hours, and their produce, fresh, and frozen food selections seem to begreat, be prepared to wait for the checkout lanes. They are often understaffed. And if you have mobility issues, don't count onthe mobility carts. Getting you all the way around the store. The batteries haven't been replaced in quite a while. Read more
