Awesome! The only way to describe our visit at the Ketch Inn. Everyone was very helpful. Josephine at the front desk took such... good care of us. They went out of their way to help us out of an unpleasant situation. Michael the GM provided his assistance aswell. 1 week stay, Aug 2021 - weather: mostly sunny, warm days. The staff are the nicest you'll find in Ketchikan. They love their... guests and go above and beyond. Their shuttle services were so generous (TIP YOUR DRIVERS! - taxis are outrageous and charge*more* than $4+ .10cents per 1.5 Seconds). They know the area very well and give great tips & ideas for travel experiences.They're familiar with the restaurant operating times and menus. The rooms are what you'll find all over Ketchikan: simple, cleanand honest rooms. They're not the Holiday Inn from the Lower 48, but understand this is a small town doing the best they canwith what's available. If you can, ask for a fan, it gets very stuffy in the rooms/bathrooms without ventilation. There areheaters but no AC, which seems relatively standard for this climate. Also, we never experienced hot water shortages (~15-20 minshowers each) The restaurant was good, the Halibut and Chips were bigger servings and better quality than any other restaurantwe ate at (which were most all of them over a 1 week stay).
