Pumpkin pancakes were on special this morning. Which my man enjoyed he only wished there was one more on the plate. I enjoyed... the meat omelet which I changed to a skillet for $3 more. I struggle ordering eggs for breakfast but these were cookedperfectly. I was thrilled, more often than not my eggs come out underdone and slimy and these were not at all. Uneventful. Coffee was super watery. Eggs American fries and toast were ok. Service was great. Nice kids. Edit: In response to... the owners rudely negative comment. My husband and I travel around Wisconsin and try out many different diners every weekend.We have had some great stops and some not so great. This restaurant, to ME, was ok. Just an FYI, that is not a badthing. Uneventful means it did not wow me. I am not sure where you got the idea I needed entertainment, however, sounds like agreat idea. I did not order what you called a "specialty coffee". Just a regular coffee and again, in MY opinion, waswatery. My American fries were good. Nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The bread was good as well. I don'tbelieve I said anything negative about them. Again. My breakfast was ok. As I also commented on your great staff. 2 younger men(kids) waited on us and were super polite, respectful and made our visit nice. I didn't notice that you were short staffedbecause they did their job seemingly well. Your response was very childish for a "Mom and Pop" place. It seems you were set onwanting to reply with a negative response, you failed to see the positive in my comment about your establishment. Mysuggestion, which you asked for, is to maybe be positive in your responses. Things won't always be perfect or go perfectly whenrunning a business but it is how you handle things that make the difference. Again, this is MY honest opinion. That is whatreviews are for. Had great customer service. The food was amazing. My lady had the loaded hash browns. I had the western omelette and biscuits... and gravy. I would have taken a picture, but it was gone pretty quick.
