Crowded and overpriced. But it was at least food!

A very simple eats dive with money ambition. If you are looking for extravagance don?t eat here. If you do eat here Stick to... ordering easy diner food like breakfast and sandwiches. The food is not very happy or thoughtful. My seafood platter was blandand sad. The building and atmosphere is uninspired and unmaintained. This restaurant is only about making money from tourists.Overpriced and too many bad items on the menu. I doubt they care if they have repeat customers. Only one cook at the height oflunch time. Two wait staff. The wait was not too long but the meals we ordered were very underwhelming and overpriced. Theseafood was over cooked and tasteless, so disappointing since we are at the coastline. Great breakfast at $7.50!! Home made fried potatoes are delicious!! The cashier wasnt very welcoming! She didn't greeting... us...or say thanks! The restaurant and the bathroom were clean. Great place to stop before Key west! Read more

Fast and friendly service but the food was just ok. We ordered eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes...traditional American... breakfast food. We've sampled a few restaurants for breakfast this week and Evelyn's was the least enjoyable. There are betteroptions in the area. Read more
