What a wonderful discovery! Was shopping in the area and Buzzard?s Roost was suggested for a waterfront dinner. It?s tucked away... in a quiet neighborhood and sits on a short canal that leads out to the ocean. Outside seating ample and comfortable and betweenfans and a breeze just fine on a late August afternoon temperature-wise. It?s a casual spot and my expectations for the foodweren?t high so I was very happily surprised by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful wedge salad and absolutely delicious blackenedshrimp tacos. Had just enough room left for a taste of Key Lime Pie and it had a nice tang to it. Definitely adding this spot tomy list of go-to?s. And I forgot to mention, the service was excellent! I had late lunch. The menu had a wide selection of food. The oysters were meaty and good. The tuna for appetizer was good. We... ordered fish and the conch burger. The food in general is good and fresh. Low in salt which is wonderful. Good place for acasual informal lunch. Dog friendly. This place is FABULOUS!! The food, the drinks, the service, the view? all are absolutely fantastic! I wish I had taken photos of... our meal, especially our desserts, as they were not only delicious, but beautiful! But I was too mesmerized by the view! Thegrouper was absolute perfection! Service couldn't have been better, waiter was amazing, never had a want and was knowledgeable. Food was fresh and good,... crabcakes had nice light flavor, sauted grouper was cooked perfectly, Conch was a little chewy but hey, it's Conch. Everythinghad fresh and nice look and taste. This was one of the best places I've been to since trying dining in the Florida Keys. I'm visiting from out of town and choose... this place based on the options on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were made to perfection, and thedesserts are to die for. The service provided was second to none that I've been able to experience. Very attentive, alwaysensuring the table was taken care of. The atmosphere was amazing. My party sat outside right near the water and everything wasso serene.
