Sitting right by one of the swimming pools makes a very welcoming and relaxed environment. For a top restaurant, Morimoto... delivered in every aspect it was expected. The ambience was great, quiet and chill by the pool, our server was very attentiveand the service and food preparation were fast. The tables also felt sufficiently private and separated from each other. Myrecommendations on food. The grilled mushrooms were exquisite, the oysters and the edamame, too. What a beautiful setting for dinner. Try to reserve your time right around sunset. Everything we are was delicious.. one of our... favorites is the sticky ribs. Mori-No-to- Here's the thing, I have looked up to Morimoto for over 20 years and finally got the chance to eat at one of his... restaurants. I have no problem dropping $100 + dollars per person just for food if it's good...this was highly disappointing andI have no clue why he would have his name on this place. So lets start with the menu. It's extremely limited. They only serve ahand full of items. My menu was misprinted having the entrée on the 1st and last page but no drink menu. Now on to the food.The miso soup tasted like it was just miso paste and water scallions and they had a fresh tofu. 1/2 the menu is stolen from nobuand sub par. The real loser is the sushi and lets be honest your expectation is for the best. I have honestly had better sushiout of a strip mall in west texas. The fish was fresh and served room temperature. The uni was a large portion but I fear partof it was bad (time will tell) as it had a off flavor. The real problem is in the prep. The rice did not have Miriam in it andthey use fake Wasabi and they didn't glaze it. At $16 for a single piece of sushi you should be delivered the highest quality.Our waiter made note they haven't had a real chef in a while and that's why the menu had limited options and no omakasi. Thebest thing on the menu was the mushrooms and lets be real. They are just a mushroom mix wok seared... Nothing exotic. The wholemenu is flavors just slightly above grocerie store grade. + points for yuzu on carpat, fresh tofu, and decent toro selection -points.. horseradish wasabi, generic miso soup. copy cat nobu entrees and apps.(If I wanted nobu I would go to nobo..the namesake is an iron chef) No miriam on rice, menu's are printed wrong. No custom rolls, no sushi soy glaze on nigari. Restaurant isopen air and hot and muggy. Their kitchen is tiny too. But really they just don't know what they are doing or take pride intheir food. Outstanding A5, side of vegetables medley, salad. Service is overall attentive. Every single dish we ordered was executed... perfectly. The restaurant is a little crowded and loud, in case you are looking for a quiet dining atmosphere. There are not anyvegetarian entree options, although there are mushrooms, vegetables, and some vegetarian sushi rolls available. Great forpescetarians and meat eaters, not great for vegetarians. The shrimp tempura was also spectacular, it does arrive already in asauce, one of them in a wasabi sauce, which should probably be explained on the menu. Read more

Amazing food, great sushi, and stunning views. We usually time our reservation for sunset, and always get a few orders of the... ribs. Great spot for someone with a dairy allergy. We almost didn’t return after one of the servers was abrasive andunaccommodating with our allergies, but are extremely glad we did, as Ryan knocked it out of the park with their care to ourallergies and went above and beyond.
