Lovely anniversary dinner with my husband, food & service was impeccable.
The food and service is outstanding! It was our 18th year anniversary tonight 9-17-22 and I called last night to see if I need... reservations for tonight and the gentleman said that I did not that I could walk in and then tonight when my wife and I arrivedthe lady host said that we had to have a reservation . So I was very upset and we left. We will not return to Jack Ryans anymorebecause I do not like being lied to. But I will admit the food and table service is excellent! Read more
Dalton was our server. He was excellent, friendly, humorous, and cute! The food was great, except they need a different type of... roll or bread, the type they have is hard to even cut with a steak knife. But other than that my experience was top of theline.! Read more
I had a difficult time with the rating. The food was delicious and our server was great; however, they were out of everything. ... I intended to order sea bass but was told it was substituted with halibut, which was fine. I was told there were only twohalibut left so I ordered ahead of everyone at our table. They were out of diver scallops, the queso and several other items. After everyone ordered, I was told there was a miscount and they were also out of halibut. The menu is very beef-heavy and Ihave an unfortunate allergy to beef (not their problem, I understand that). I chose the salmon. The menu described the salmonas being served with rock shrimp and a butternut squash risotto. No shrimp and no risotto. It was served over a few slices ofasparagus and a butter sauce (which was actually really good but not what I paid for). We spent almost $300 for 4 people. Myhusband's steak was cooked perfectly so that made me happy. As we were leaving, they were telling other customers they were outof the tuna and salmon, leaving zero seafood choices and mostly just beef. I felt really bad for the servers. They wereworking very hard to please everyone. I understand supply issues right now and greatly appreciate dedication to fresh food butwe had an early reservation on a Saturday night. If you are out of most of your entree choices, how do you expect to serve yourcustomers? Maybe expand the menu to items more readily available. Regardless of this experience, I would try it again - maybenext year when the crazies are over COVID and people realize they have to go back to work. Read more

We took a nice weekend getaway to Kilgore. Thank you @texasbucketlist for showcasing the city! We didn?t have reservations on... the Saturday night of the Derrick Lightning but were able to sit at the bar counter with Savannah and she was amazing! Weenjoyed her knowledge of the drinks and the menu items! We highly recommend stopping in for dinner and drinks Savannah wasincredibly outgoing, friendly and excellent at her job with fantastic customer service! Read more
