Interesting take on poke. Not Hawaiian style but pretty good. In Hawaii, the protein is mixed in with the sauce and toppings.... Here, you order it by layer. Base (rice or salad), then protein, sauce, and add ins. When we ate it, it was good but the flavorwas not consistent throughout the meal and much of the protein just tasted bland. Would love if they let you pick your itemsthen mixed the poke for you. It would get a Hawaiian poke flavor and allow the variety that this place offered. I love sushi, but rice isn't so easy for me. I gave this place a try and I absolutely LOVE their menu! The fish is ALWAYS fresh!... It tastes so good, fresh, and delicious! I like that I can get a half rice half salad for the base. The additional veggies arealways fresh and tasty. The sauces are delicious. The portion is perfect for an adult. I typically order through one of thedelivery services. Hawaii Poke is my go to place when I am too busy to take time to get lunch. I can't express how much I lovethis place, you just have to try it.
