Sadly I wanted to enjoy this meal. However, it was a special bratwurst. It was like one I bought from the dollar store and they... put beer cheese on it into a plain hot dog bun. Very dry and disappointed. I can't eat the coleslaw as I'm allergic to pineappleso I asked for the pasta on the side instead as it's the same price point in the menu, no I was told they give the slaw awaywith it so no. I ordered the pasta salad when it came it was dry as they had poured parmesan on top. I asked her if I could havesome of the lemon dressing that it claimed it came with. Which did make it better. When you?re visiting a new place with your family, you don?t necessarily look for the best food when choosing a restaurant. You... may look for activities (like a pool table or corn hole) or food that works for your most pickiest eaters?.but the reviews ofJax did not reflect the experience my family of 4 had this evening. The food was DELICIOUS, esp the blackened haddock fish wraps(in lettuce!). The old bay wings and maple siricha wings were also quite good. (My 13 year old liked them better than theBuffalo wings). The manager Kaigo (spelling?) as well as all the wait and bar staff were so nice! Stopped there completely by accident on 8/6/2022 because all the other restaurants on the access road were packed. It was a... nice evening so we were able to sit outside. The menu is a little small, but for a bar it is fine. Honestly, our food wasreally good and the beer selection offered many craft choices. Our server was very pleasant and the food came out in no time. I also thought their prices were very fair considering the state of the current economy and the vacation location. Woulddefinitely recommend stopping there, especially if it is a nice day. Read more

Let?s go from best to worst ? Service from bartender was great. Food was okay (huge serving of fries, and they were good).... Atmosphere was nothing special.
