Great food and atmosphere. I got the Italian style Mac and cheese and it was amazing. Would recommend.

2nd generation Italian so I take my Italian food seriously. This review is relative to the price range of other similar Italian... restaurants. This review is not absolute in comparison to all Italian restaurants (especially those of higher price range andelegance). Portions of food are large enough for the price. I had the veal parmesan with spaghetti meat sauce. Veal was ok, itwas not pounded out thin enough so there was less flavor and it was not as tender as it should be. Spaghetti was slightlyovercooked so the texture and flavor suffered a bit. My wife got the Baked Penne. Overall is was pretty good but the Penne wasslightly overcooked. My wife said it was cooked ok, but I can taste the overcooked pasta. The minestrone soup was decent, vegetables needed to be cooked longer in the soup. The salad was good, the dressing was tangy and tasted like a ranch/Italianblend possibly. Pasta must be boxed store bought pasta, quality was lacking. It's hard to give it more than 3 stars because Ihave had far better Italian food homeade and other restaurants. Service was great and very friendly staff. Place feels cozy andhas a good atmosphere. Overall it was decent and I'm sure we will be back to try other dishes. Read more

Excellent find in the Tahoe area. We both had the chicken Parmesan, it was perfect. The spaghetti side dish, was ok, the... marinara had great flavor. Their salad dressing was amazing! The first loaf of bread was delightful, the second one wasn'twarmed all the way. The kids really liked their noodle dishes and our waitress was really friendly and good with the kids! WishI could have provided photos, but we ate it all. Read more

Greatly hyped locally. I found it just okay, especially for the price. Went on a summer Monday night. Not too long of a wait.... Ten minutes or so. Must have caught our server on an off night. She was disinterested and slow to find our table. Food was justokay. Spaghetti Alfredo was very garlicky. I was fine with it, my eight year old, not so much. My calamari steak was chewy tothe point that I wondered if it had been reheated. Also, they took a carrot and quartered it and called it a side. The lasagnawas nice. Could have done without the server slopping it out of its serving dish and onto the plate. Made it feel like a plateof $25 leftovers. For the price, a little presentation goes a long way. As long as you are eating somewhere before 9pm. thereare several options. This would be somewhere in the middle of the pack on my next visit. Maybe early bird special time isbetter. Less disinterested staff, less possibility of calamari steak reheats. Sorry for the lack of photos, I was sodisappointed by now I just wanted to eat it and get dessert elsewhere. Read more
