If this place was on the water in an upscale area, it would be known as the place to be. Unfortunately, Reel Kitchen is located... between a bakery and a liquor store on a strip mall. But, as many foodies will tell you, some of the best restaurants arecrammed in small shopping centers. As someone whose diet consists of mostly seafood, I have been fortunate enough to eat at alot of restaurants and seafood markets throughout the country. I can say that the crabcake from Reel Kitchen was hands-down thebest I have ever had and the salmon burger was cooked to absolute perfection and fulfilled every bit of the craving I had. I'll start with the positive, the owner was very nice and the place was clean. Very poorly prepared food with zero taste. Prices... were exorbitant. My roll fell apart and was caked with fish roe- way over the top. My chowder tasted like warm, greasy potatosoup. For real people. I would not recommend at all. In fact, I?m pretty annoyed that I?m out $25 for this ?meal?. I?d have goneback to complain but they took so long to prepare in the first place that my lunch break was squandered. You?ve been warned. Been coming here for about two years , the owner is just as friendly as always , the place is just as clean as always and the... food smells and tastes just as good as ever ! This man does it all runs the counter cooks the food and always with a smile ! Heis a one man show so please understand it may take a little longer then a usual place but trust me it's worth the wait ! Thefood is made with passion and you can tell he loves what he does ! My favorite place for seafood around. Amazing poke bowls, fish taco, and baked clams.
