The place was crowded because everyone one loves a good hot dog. The service was good. The price was excellent for 1 hot dog... $1.85 (NOT A BAD PRICE). NOW!! I'm a person that loves hot dogs and to be honest THEY WERE ALRIGHT. They were not the best (INMY OPINION]). They were a bit water logged. The red onion sauce and sauerkraut had no taste. The pickles were good. Will Ireturned to this location for a hot dog? The verdict is still out on that and that's sad because I love Hot Dogs. I guess youcan't beat $1.85 anywhere in NEW YORK. Dallas Hot Wiener's has been a staple of Kingston for at least 50 decades. The sauce is iconic and one that tries to be... duplicated. Every time I come back to visit my home state, it's not complete without a trip to the original Dallas Hot Weinerlocation. I love that they maintain the nostalgic appearance of the restaurant and the food tastes exactly like I remember as achild. Read more
