The food, the vibes, the drinks, all wonderful. Our waitress was great, but the host didn?t seat us until 10 min after our... reservation time, even though we were 15 minutes early and the restaurant was not full. This is strictly about the restaurant...SUPERB. Though the menu is small, the choices are excellent, as the chef is A PRO,... presenting ordinary chicken or pasta with GREAT flavor and textures. My husband and I loved staying here. We stayed at the Bank building? it was stunning. All the colors, the decor, the mood. The... room was so so beautiful, I even took photos for future home inspiration haha. So very well curated and cared for. Love that thehotel spans a few buildings too. Not sure what other reviewers meant about hearing through the walls. The rooms around mine areall taken (they have the privacy signs out) and we couldn?t hear a thing. Went to the restaurant for dinner and it did notdisappoint. Food was delicious, the staff and friendly and attentive, and the mood was great. Will definitely be returninghere. Really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Kingsley! Stayed in double queen room. Very clean and spacious and inviting. Well... appointed with fabulous sheets, comfy bed, thick towels and extra seating. Do not miss their restaurant the gem salad from localfarm served in chilled bowl and homemade pasta perfectly prepared simply delectable! Cozy setting, relaxed atmosphere andwonderful service! Made a quick one night stop in Kingston and while the hotel was fine, it?s not what I would call a ?design hotel? - the bed was... comfortable but the decor/furnishings seemed pretty basic. The bathroom with double sinks and the huge shower felt great thoughafter 2 nights of camping. But most of all wanted to write this review to give kudos to Matthew at the front desk! He was sohelpful and facilitated an earlier checkin as well as coordinating for a package I had to be delivered straight to the room. Wehad such a lovely chat and it totally made my morning! Read more
