You pay $20 for what they advertise as "Jumbo Chicken Wings" and receive about 8 small pieces. What a scam. Loblaws sells better wings. The pizza is atrocious for the price as well. $30 for a "large".. lumps of pizza sauce were on top of the pizza and asking for well done apparently means you'll receive a charred black crust pizza..
Needed something quick for dinner a few weeks ago, and ordered a large poutine from here. Had a bit of a wait as I came in at a busier time (I think it was around 15-20 minutes). Poutine wasn't bad for a quick bite, but the gravy was a but thicker than I'd prefer. Cost was similar to most other places I've got poutine from in the past, so I cant judge their price vs quality off of just that, but I'll have to come back and try a bit more of the menu and make a more accurate review of their pricing and quality.
Negative experience, skip order was accepted at the bath location and then after 30 minutes I got a notification the restaurant closed. Called the other location and explained the worker said I would have to reorder with their location, no compensation for their technical issue. I asked if we could be prioritized for the mix up they said yes, the order was delivered an hour later. Pizza was barely warm, pita was soggy and fell apart two bites in. Will not order again.
Paradiso is a take out place. But they dont give you cutlery or napkins to enjoy your food. Either ask them for it before leaving or bring your own. If you forget. I guess they figure its your problem. Meal was 18 dollars. Priced high and fries were a little burnt. Not thuroughly impressed...
Delivery person was gonna leave this pizza on our apartment mail box, and text that it was here, so someone walking by could take it. Once I opened the box I immediately phone this pizza place and got rude customer service, I guess Mama Mia is the Supreme pizza place around here
We have supported this local pizza restaurant for years and I have to say that the quality and taste has deteriorated!! The crust is too thick and chewy. The tomato sauce has very little flavour. The cheese is rubbery. Very disappointed in this pizza!! Will not be supporting it in the future!! Sorry!
My wife and I frequently stop here to grab a quick bite on a long drive. We checked online and on the website and it said dine in available on both. We ordered ahead, unloaded our newborn and toddler and were informed the place is not open for dine in as indicated AND we were not allowed to use their washroom. You need to communicate this to patrons who stop here for this reason.
So apparently a medium is called a large, because the sizing jumps from small to large with no intermediate size. So we ended up getting a smaller pizza than hoped. Also you pay for a 14 inch pie and get a 13 inch. That?s a 15% decrease in surface area. Not insignificant. Good pizza but a little disappointed? don?t care about the price but just call a medium a medium and make it the size you advertise. Photos provided.
Kingston has lots of great places to eat, but none better than Paradiso. Call (613) 548-7006 to make reservations and ask about our savory salads too.
