Fantastic Smoke House with great food, big portions and excellent service. Their standards have not dropped at all over the... years. My favorites are the brisket, ribs, cornbread. I bring friends and family here whenever someone comes to visit. Read more
A glass of Tullamore Dew, 2 large slice of smoked New York briskets, Carolina Reaper hot sauce and a very large piece of cheese... cake.....insert Homer Simpson gif here ????. Excellent smoke house, in fact, possibly the best I've been too. Brisket was amazing. Exactly what you expect, I had it in... their Philly cheese style sandwich. Their cheese sauce on it was amazing. The wings are done in true smokehouse fashion, smokedand fried. Great dry rub on them as well. They also let me try all the sauces with my wings which was freaking awesome. Weended up buying three different bottles of their own sauces. The vinegar is my favorite and the heat was a close second, can'twait to use them on my own smoked and grilled meats at home. In addition to the food, the drinks were great and service wasreally on point. I literally have nothing to complain about during my experience at the Smokenbarrel. I think next time I'll beprepared and try some of the whiskey options as well. We will definitely be back very soon. Read more
The 1 star is for the excellent service staff. Our waitress was amazing, attentive and warm. The food however, is absolute... garbage. I've had southern bbq food everywhere and this was meh at best. Its pricey, lacks flavor and seasoning and they have nospicy bbq sauces... The sauce legit tasted like ketchup!! The burger patty was dry, no seasoning, no flavor, the brisket wasawful. The baked beans were way too sweet. Seems like the chef had covid and lost their sense of taste and they DEFINITELY needsome training on how to season the meats. . Read more
