Our wedding sweet table was a huge hit!! The wedding cake and assortment of pastries were out of this world - so delicious!! All... our guests loved everything, especially the macarons! We cannot thank Cheslea and her team enough for being part of our big dayand being so helpful and accommodating with picking flavours and getting things together for our day! Their 72 hour cakes are really bad. I thought they looked nice in the pictures and I?ve tried desserts from them before so I... thought it would be good cake since I saw them post about their cakes often. The outside was pretty nicely decorated, but theinside was horrible. When you cut it, all the layers fell apart. You could not get one single intact slice of cake. The cakepart was falling apart from the icing and the cake was so dry and the icing was more solid almost like ice cream and had such aplain flavor even though we left it out for an hour before cutting. It was disappointment since we drove from far to get it. Ithink they must freeze the cakes or something and just take them out and decorate them when they get an order because it wassuch a dry texture and not worth the money at all. I gave two stars because some of their other desserts are good but theircakes are very much not. The picture is the aftermath of trying to cut it but the cake just completely fell apart. Read more

Ordered a cherry chip cake online for my husband's birthday last weekend and it was delicious and looked amazing! He loved it. I... picked it up in person on a Sunday and all of the staff inside were super pleasant and friendly. I really would have loved to have a positive experience at this bakery, but it was far much worst than what I expected . To... start, I had contacted the bakery 2 weeks before my event to ask if they were available to bake a 6 inch cake for my husband?sbirthday. I heard back from them 4 days later. I was told that it was indeed possible for my order to be taken and that thedate was available for my cake to be baked. I was instructed to choose flavours from the website. I then sent the details for mycake order along with some follow up questions regarding the cake. This was 10 days before the date requested. I didn?t hearback from the bakery until I called, 2 days before my event, panicking to see if they were still able to even accommodate myrequest since I never received a confirmation. Cheslea answered my call and we discussed the cake details over the phone. I wastold that she would send an order confirmation via email with all the details we confirmed on the phone, and never received one.I then took the initiative upon myself to email yet again to confirm the details of the flavour and design discussed, only to betold that today is baking day and that I will recieve an invoice and order confirmation prior to my pick update. I received theinvoice of the cake the morning of my pick up date and the flavour notes I had requested including the berry filling and for thecake and cream cheese butter cream to be half sweet were not included. When I picked the cake up, the design looked okay, butthe horror was when we got home to celebrate my husbands birthday. The cake was dry on the inside, and no berry filling wasincluded. It did not taste like cream cheese and the sweetness was not half sweet as we had discussed over the phone. Thebuttercream on the inside was very thick in ratio comparison to the cake. King's bake shop is absolutely incredible! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff there.... Cheslea and her incredible team make sure that your order is placed correctly and on time - plus they deliver! The macarons areto die for, the cakes & cupcakes are absolutely beautiful and taste good too. There are plenty of vegan products and she isconstantly creating new flavors and baked goods to try. We have used King's bake shop for multiple dinner parties, areengagement, our wedding and our baby shower - and I'm certain that we will continue using them again and again.
