I had the lamb gyro. It was wonderful! Lamb was so tender and the veggies in it were so fresh. The owner and staff were a... great delight! About 3 weeks ago I was looking for a place to eat where I?ve never previously eaten. Then I discovered A Taste of Greek, and I... am ecstatic I did. I am originally from Long Island where ethnic foods are the norm. Greek and Mediterranean are amongst foodsI frequent. I can state unequivocally their food is the best Greek food I have eaten outside New York. I knew instantaneouslyon the first bite. I have been back to the shop several times since to try new dishes and have favorites again. I can say itis consistently prepared to the same high standard of flavor. From the very first moment I stepped into the store I was treatedlike I was their best customer even though we?ve never met. As I was deciding what to eat, the staff was listening intently anddelivered exactly what I was looking for. Their recommendations were spot on. It?s obvious they take great pride in what theyare doing. I have since learned it is a family run business and they are actually from Greece. They represent the embodimentof the American dream; each generation?s success improved by the previous generation and the struggles they perseveredthrough. The whole staff is so friendly and accommodating I don?t understand how any sane individual could possibly feeluncomfortable in their shop. Read more
Awesome wonderful tasting food. Awesome wonderful friendly family environment. Very nice friendly owners. Proud to see he is... using his 2nd Amendment right to protect the safety of himself/his workers/his business and his customers. To many times thispast month did I read about one weekend 15 business were robbed/broken into. This is my new favorite place. Dine in last Sunday, hubs and I both did the gyro basket...I was tempted to order a second... one. Did takeout Falafel Plate tonight. Was not disappointed.
