Another lovely and delicious meal at 271 West. I had the French onion soup to start. It was certainly different then some... others I have had, unique flavour but very tasty. The 271 shrimp linguine was great as well, and the boca negra ... perfect endto a great meal. Service is exceptional. My mother and I decided to try a new restaurant and found this one. Now parking is not ideal but that's what you get with... downtown! I got to say the food was AMAZING the pasta was cooked to perfection especially the cabonara which was a dream toeat. We highly highly highly enjoyed it. The service was great as well the place was kept very tidy and they were extremelyhelpful. Definitely one of the best place to get pasta. And we are definitely coming back! Read more
Is there an option to give more than 5 stars? I absolutely love this restaurant. Everything I have ordered , whether it is an... appetizer, entrée, or dessert (even the wine) has been top notch food. The atmosphere is pleasant, staff is incrediblyfriendly. The owner is constantly around, checking in with patrons and supporting staff which just brings up morale all around.I've gone a few times over the past couple years, once pre-pandemic, once with some restrictions, and most recently last nightat the new location to celebrate with my boyfriend at our favourite restaurant. Authentic Italian cuisine, with their delicious home made pasta. We went there on Saturday and it was full, so you have to have... a reservation! We ended up getting out food to-go, and it was only 15 mins wait (very fast considering how full they were). Thegood itself was very good! The 271 shrimp dish was the best among our choices, the bruschetta was pretty good also. Overall avery good experience! Read more
