The food was wonderful. You can see how they’ve been in business since 1961. We had schnitzel and replaced the potato with... spatzle, the goulash was really great too. Service was excellent and the setting felt homey. We will be returning for sure. Irecommend it if you are looking for traditional German meal. Read more
Came with a group of friends and made a reservation. Seated in the back area, the restaurant is very clean and had very friendly... employees working. Ordered the Metro Schnitzel, with dill and potato soup, fries and red cabbage as sides. Portion sizes aregreat and the food was hot and delicious. Great food. I had schnitzel before and this is one of my favourites. The pigtail is new for me. Tasted like ribs and very... tender, but I didn't expect it to have a lot of bone and very little meat. The pierogies were deep fried, which was also a firstfor me. Reminds me of deep fried ice cream since the inside was filled with cream cheese. The service was nice and veryfriendly. Would come again. Good food and excellent service. We went during the week and took advantage of the 50% off for the second plate (2 drinks order... to qualify). I had a delicious mimosa and hubby beer of course. The schnitzel was divine! The mashed potatoes were a bit dry butthat happenss with mashed potatoes. Hubby had the home fries and he asked for them to make them extra crispy and those were sogood. The coleslaw was average. The broccoli soup was extremely tasty and I wish they would give more of it! I did not eat thegarlic bread because I felt I would not have room for the schnitzel.
