Okay so first and foremost... don't judge me! They had a nice wide variety of tumblers to choose from and I went a bit over... board. Secondly, in my part of NC it's hit or miss to find this type of variety and 30% off!! I did good though, I almost walkedout with that ombre pink and purple!! You see the trend yeah I'm a purple girl at heart. But other than that, lovely experience.Staff thought we were crazy (in a good way). We left and bought three people back! LOL!! Came in to the Starbucks and two days in a row the order was not right. Rachelle proceeds to yell my order back at me even... though the first order was not correct. Just rude and I think that if the tables were turned and I was yelling at her she wouldhave been offended. I just happen to be the only black person in the shop. Unconscious Bias! This store has 2 of the most amazing employees ever! (I went twice and they are who helped me.) First there is EMILY she is by... far the best barista I have ever had (NC, NY, NJ, PA, DE, VA). Who needs tiktok when they've got Emily? Not me, this angel issuper friendly, patient, and creative; I actually drove 10 minutes from the place I was visiting to come back for her (there isa Starbucks literally a block away from the house.) The other star is Joy the cashier, she is a soft spoken young lady whosometimes signs when she speaks and it lit up my heart. These young ladies make this store a must visit if you're in the area.Thanks for helping to make my visit to Outter Banks memorable!! Read more
This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a Starbucks!! We were traveling home and waited for 40 minutes for... our order. When we asked about our food order we were told it would be an additional 40 minutes. Our food order was a breakfastsandwich and a bagel. It would have been nice to know this when we initially ordered. It seemed as if the mobile orders tookprecedence over those orders within the store. I will now consider other coffee alternatives before going to another Starbucksstore. Read more
