We arrived and were told that one of our two day stays WOULD NOT HAVE POWER from 7am-5pm. They said they tried to call everyone... booked yet neither one of us received a call, message nor was there a record that they had called. They allowed us to cancel ourreservation for a full refund which we did of course. But my review is also about the poor condition of the exterior grounds andinterior check in area. Below standards. Doesn't live up to the expectation of what was advertised. Very underwhelmed and I wantto say there was a musty smell as we walked in but it also smelled unclean overall. Sad and disappointed. An accidental find which was pure gold!! We turned off Highway 101 to see the Klamath River Overlook and spotted this quaint... inn, advertising breakfast, just when we were hungry. Open to the public, we found a gracious dining room, (white linennapkins!) overlooking the river, with complimentary coffee (fresh heavy sweet cream in the fridge!) while we perused areasonably priced menu, simple but everything on it was tempting! We shared the potatoes, the eggs with ham and cheese and twodelectable, still warm cinnamon rolls - all of it exceptionally delicious! It turns out all the food comes from a farm just upthe road, and this we learned from our personable waiter who turned out to be Farmer Kenny himself! I guess this is what foodtastes like when it doesn't travel far, comes from happy chickens and cows and is expertly prepared. I hope to return one day, stay as a guest, and experience their evening fixed price menus! Read more

This was the perfect location to stay and explore all of the nearby natural beauty. We reserved a river-side room but I think I... would prefer the other side of the inn next time just due to the river boats getting an early start each day. On the other hand,it kept me from sleeping the days away in the ultra-comfy bed... The staff were amazing and far exceeded my expectations, especially Wendi and Kenny. Wendi was very knowledgeable about everything to see and do in the area and had such a friendly wayabout her. Kenny was much the same and kept us incredibly well-fed during our stay. Kenny and his partner run a farm in Requaand as of May 2022, this restaurant as well. So, you will not find anything fresher or tastier. My boyfriend and I stayed at theinn for 4 nights and had breakfast in the restaurant each morning. The freshness of the produce and genuine care taken by Kennyand his kitchen team made for a great start to each day. We also reserved a place for dinner Sunday. 24-hour advancereservations for dinner are required. You may find that inconvenient but I think it's a smart and sustainable business modelespecially because it is a substantial multicourse meal. No waste this way! And that dinner was the best meal I've ever had!I've eaten a lot of food in my time but that was something special. Not only was everything beyond delicious but it was alsotechnical and showcased the chef's skill. The value of it though... I felt like I was ripping them off! Could not recommend thisexperience more and lucky for you locals, they're extending their operating hours to include more days when dinner will beserved! Definitely keep an eye out for that and enjoy! Read more

Stayed for a few days while exploring the Redwoods on vacation. Booked a riverside room and could not have been happier. The inn... was very well kept, and the room was nice and bright and had a super comfy bed. The view of the river and the often foggy (inthe morning) valley was unobstructed and was a nice sight to wake up to. There were lots of small touches we noticed that showedthat the owners and staff really cared about the place. And the food - just amazing. Had breakfast there every day and diddinner on Sunday. It was a multicourse setup and just absolutely fantastic. Note - you do need reservations for dinner - but itis well worth it. The nearby farm at the top of the hill provides the meal services and the freshness of everything was topnotch. We did not spend any time in the downstairs common area due to wanting to explore nature as much as possible, but it isvery cozy and nice and quiet. Highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning at some point in the future. Read more

The Historic Requa Inn was a delightful retreat from our busy life in Northern Oregon. The spectacular view of the wide and... rolling Klamath River soothes the soul. The best place for viewing that river is from beautiful dining room decorated withWilliam Morris style wall paper and an antique stove. The warm, wide windows offer a view where one might be fortunate enough tocatch sight of a bear. The wild nature outside the windows is happily de-stressing. Everything about this inn is relaxing andlovely. We stayed in a handicap-accessible room that was apparently remodeled recently with a truly comfy king bed, a hugeshower with beautiful tile and stone work, and many small touches of Native American artwork. The room features a small eatingarea and a sitting porch with two chairs, where one can relax in the morning and evening after spending the day at Prairie Creekenjoying the redwoods, or at nearby ocean beaches. I have only one suggestion. Though handicapped, I was able to use the fouroutdoor steps needed to get to our room. It would be good if those steps were mentioned in the room description for anyhandicapped guest so they know what to expect. We are eager to return for a longer stay at the beautiful Requa Inn. I plan touse at least one day sitting in the welcoming lobby and reading one of the offered books from the Inn's small, but intriguinglibrary. Maybe an Autumn or Winter day would serve us well. We thank everyone associated with the Inn for your kind hospitalityon our recent mid July trip. Read more
