The food was was good as it usually is had a pretty good server the problem with the service or for the rating of three is... because when we got there the host went to see this and then he told us that we couldn't sit down because he did not have anytables and we also noticed him doing that to at least four more couples. We sat and waited for almost an hour for our meals andthe waiter came back and told us that he was waiting for a baked potato to finish out our meals but he did not come and tell usthat till we've been sitting there for almost 45 minutes. Two of us had the pick 2 combo and one was an order from the kids menuwhich was shrimp and french fries, the adults had soup and loaded baked potato and a salad with grilled chicken and a loadedbaked potato this is why I gave such a low rating because they didn't let us know they were out of baked potatoes until we hadsat there nearly 45 minutes and they could have came and asked us if we wanted to substitute something instead of waiting allthat time. The food is good at this location, but the service is always sub-standard. Waited several minutes after being seated before... being acknowledged and having drink order taken. Then another 30 minutes for food to arrive. The biggest negative though was theserver using spray bottle on table 18 inches from our table and spraying in our direction. Read more
Food was good but the waiter was having issues... had to ask for napkins multiple times. He spilled coffee on our table EVERY.... SINGLE. REFILL. (not just a dribble either). Always enjoy eating at the Cracker Barrel.Got hungry for a good home cooked meal, so we decided one night to call in our order... and go pick it up. We ordered a half gallon of sweet tea and got unsweetened. We ordered grilled chicken tenders w/pinto beans,turnip greens and biscuits. Everything was cold, beans didn?t have one drop of liquid, so they were extremely dry and we onlygot one cold, hard biscuit. Our other items were 2 bowls of beans and cornbread. The beans had hardly any liquid, so they weredry. We did get 3 corn muffins, but they were cold. So, it wasn?t just 1 or 2 issues, the whole meal was terrible! So, I hope wedon?t decide to rule Cracker Barrel out all together, because when we eat at the restaurant it?s usually a very good meal, butI?m sure we will never order take-out again. Server never came back to table after food brought out. Never got everything I ordered. Never got a single refill on drinks at... our table, even with placing empty glasses on edge of table so she could see we needed refills. Brought 1 biscuit out for 2people and said would bring more out shortly. Shorted me a side. I was there for 75 minutes. Just most neglected service ever.Was planning on dessert and coffee but she walked by quickly placed the check on the table without a word or breaking stride.
