Decor is very much stuck in the olden times. Drab and dreary surroundings while you're eating. The Fettuccine Alfredo I got was... cooked well but the sauce barely tasted of cheese, the main flavor coming through being butter. The sauce was also somewhatwatery, meaning it didn't well stick to the pasta. The bread sticks tasted fresh and the "Killer Stix" I ordered were well madeand good tasting. The waitress that helped us was very patient and helpful, despite it being a quite busy night. Would come backin to try something different but would not recommend the Alfredo if the sauce is the same. Read more
Went for lunch and had the Hickory Burger. First mistake was my fault - I didn?t read the menu carefully and didn?t realize it... didn?t come with cheese. It?s the only hickory burger I?ve ordered anywhere that didn?t come with cheese, which is odd to me,but still completely my fault for not noticing it on the menu. I asked for a slice of cheese and they brought me one. It was alittle weird to have a slice of cold cheese on a hot burger, but it?s ok. The bun seemed fresh and was toasted well. The burgerpatty itself was pretty disappointing. It was grey, under seasoned, dry, and flavorless. The barbecue sauce did little to hideit. The bacon was ok, and there were two small fried onion rings on it. It was a mediocre burger at best, and that?s beinggenerous. The fries were hot and crispy so that was nice. Very tasty Italian dishes in a cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind and attentive; the lady manning the register seemed... distracted and not interested in anything other than chitchatting with coworkers. Still, I would definitely recommend thisplace if you're in the area and craving some Italian meals. Read more
Went for spaghetti. Hubby got the baked lasagna. Both were very good. I recommend the meat sauce over the Marinara, though. ... Really good meatballs! Yummy bread sticks. On a return visit hubby tried the Gondolier pizza, plentiful and delicious! Excellent service, friendly and attentive. Decent priced food. Oh, and don't forget the carrot cake, mmm...????????????
