Not safe for celiac or gluten sensitive customers! I ordered a salad without gluten and dairy. The salad didn't come with gluten... per the menu and per the waitress. The waitress brought a salad with cheese and croutons. I reminded her of my order andallergies. She returned the salad to the kitchen and then brought back a salad with croutons and no cheese. I reminded her of myorder and allergies. She returned the salad to the kitchen and brought back a salad with two croutons and no cheese. It appearedthey had picked off some of the croutons. This is unacceptable for someone allergic to gluten as there are serious healthconsequences. She gave me my ice tea for free but charged me for my salad. Read more

The good: the pork chop, broccoli, and asparagus I ordered was delicious. Kudos to the kitchen. The bad: though the restaurant... wasn?t busy and there was plenty of staff present, we had horrible service. We came in the restaurant side and that was amistake because nobody was over there. We wandered into the bar side and finally got seated and water brought. Then we waited.And waited. And googled ?how long should I wait to order my food in a restaurant before just leaving?? And waited some more.Finally the waitress came and took our order. We were drinking water and the only time we got our cups refilled was when thefood came. Otherwise we actually went to the bar where the pitcher of water was and refilled our waters ourselves. Once we werefinished with our food and had cleaned up our own dishes and stacked it all neatly, we waited and waited for the waitress tocome back. My date went to her and asked for the check and just gave her the credit card rather than wait for her return. Theugly: the waitress/bartender doing shots with some guy at the bar? Never appropriate. Not at all. Especially at 2 pm. Theconversation going on between servers? Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I live out of town but if I?m ever back, Iwould never darken the door of this establishment were I starving and they were offering free food. I could not in goodconscience recommend this restaurant even though the food was good. Read more
