Menu for Garden Island Grille in Koloa, HI

This place has the best food and most amazing customer service. When we visited Kauai in April 2018 we happened upon this place... while shopping in Koloa. We came back three times because the food was so good. By the time we were ready to leave the islandeveryone working in the restaurant was hugging us goodbye. Okay, been there multiple times and each time except the last we really liked it. Service is great, live music is good... (sometimes a bit loud for me, but my wife likes it), food is great. This last time though, each of those was still true, but thefancy pineapple mule drink container came with a family of roaches in it (5 of them, with a large one and 4 smaller baby lookingones). We notified the staff and they were concerned and immediately took it away, took the drink container apart and cleanedit, and made us a new drink in a different container... Which had ANOTHER family of roaches in it. I understand it's the islandand bugs are pretty widespread here, especially with all the open air restaurants, but that second family of roaches turned meoff. I stayed and ate my shrimp tacos cuz they're good (but I peeked around them a bit to make sure it wasn't a "surf and'turf'" taco). Read more

Great spot if you're looking for vegan options! A lot of things on the menu are easy to make vegan. I had the sweet potato black... bean tacos- very simple but delicious! Pricing is reasonable, great service and food came out pretty quickly (: I woulddefinitely visit again! Read more

We had a great meal at this place! I couldn't recommend eating here anymore highly. The service was the best. Our host was... extremely kind, fun, and a joy to be around. I had the cactus chicken. It was amazing! I wish i could post a picture of the mealas it looked as good as it tasted. Read more

Can't say enough great things about this place. Prices are great and the food is amazing! Everything is so fresh and light and... full of flavor. We had the shrimp tacos, the pork tacos and coconut shrimp. All we're extremely good. Service was super fastand friendly. Would highly recommend! Read more
