This review is 2 parts, one for dinner and the other breakfast. I will say to start off, they are short staffed. But yet so are... pretty much all restaurants on the island. Don't let that stop you from coming. If they don't pick up the phone, go in and orderto-go, you won't regret it. First is dinner. We had the tacos, burger, Loco moco, and pork. So so good. Everyone was sofriendly and the portions are generous. We loved all the food. The breakfast menu looked great so we went back a few days laterto order breakfast. We got the chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, pork rice hash, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. All sogood. You can't go wrong here. Generous portions, kind and hard working staff. Highly recommend. pretty good place with a kids menu. drinks are HUGE. vegan burger wasn?t to my liking but they have many vegan/ vegetarian... options. often have live entertainment and or sports matches playing :). very chill and comfortable environment for adults andfamilies alike. Read more
We went for happy hour and enjoyed giant Mai Tais ($5 during happy hour) and appetizers. The poke was fresh and delicious, the... dumplings were crisp and tasty, and the pulled pork appetizer was excellent! Plus, even though it was happy hour, KalapakiJoe's did not skimp on the portions! The Poipu location is very pretty and has a view of the ocean from many of the big windows. Read more
Good sports bar on south shore - lots of TVs, 15+ good beer selections on tap (good to see they favor the local Kauai Island... Brew Co and not just Kona Brew Co beers here), good HH from 3-6 everyday and nice staff. Now serving breakfast (June 2022) S&Sonly. Food is typical bar food fare but it?s good. Read more
