Curb your expectation. We arrived ahead of our reservation on a Friday night and immediately we were warned that only 2 servers... were on duty. Keenan was cordial, but we were quite disappointed that by 6PM the restaurant was out of Panko Crusted Fish, Kidsfish and chips, grilled Mahi and somehow we got the last Hamachi Kama. The two rolls we received were tasty, but the lack ofselection really killed the experience for us. Definitely did not meet expectations. Read more
Very good sushi! There?s not a ton of sushi rolls on the menu, but who needs a hundred options? We got 4 rolls: Dolphin... (pictured), Flyin Hawaiian, Unagi, and U-Megan-Me-Crazy. All were incredible, but my favorites were Dolphin and Unagi. Irecommend making a reservation. We went for dinner and the sushi menu is on the dinner menu. Restaurant is outdoor seating. Best restaurant on Kauai that I?ve tried, hands down. The fish here is incredible, especially the yellowtail with Jalapeño in a... truffle ponzu sauce which is the best thing I?ve eaten in recent memory. Highly recommend the calamari which is super tender andvery different from others that I?ve tried. The over the top sushi rolls are also good, but I would recommend trying their otherstuff first. Started with calamari, incredible! Had some sushi, some teriyaki ahi and a delicious hebi!!! Every bite was delicious! Waiter... was super knowledgeable and helpful in our selections.
