I was chatting with a teammate who was going to be in Kyle for the weekend and I immediately thought of the Texas Pie... Company. I had heard great things about @texaspieco so we stopped for some pies after we ate lunch in Buda. We bought a wholeChocolate Cream Pie to share with our neighbors and several small fruit pies - Blueberry and Strawberry Peach. So far we ate thechocolate cream pie...oh so sweet! So worth the drive! They get a solid five stars for their pies! However, the lunch plates were just average. I got the big chef salad and it was... good but just average. My wife got the quiche which she says was good but nothing special, and they mixed up our order and alsogave us the King Ranch chicken plate which turned out to be nachos with chicken and cheese sauce on top.
