I ordered the game special at the start of the 3rd quarter of the Packers game, $3 Coors Light tap, $3.50 cheese burger. I... referenced the order by nodding at the Game Day poster behind my table. Server asked what I wanted on the burger- lettuce?,tomato? Didn't want any veggies, but bacon would be nice. I anbticipated a $3 up charge for a total $10. I was billed for aCalif Burger, and the bill showed I didn't want lettuce or tomato. The manager told me I had received a regular-sized hamburgerand not the Slider-sized burger that was used for the special. The waitress didn't say anything and when I showed my bill to themanager he didn't see a problem that needed adjustment. I paid the bill, took it out on the restaurant by leaving the smallesttip I've left since COVID began. Seeing an issue from the customer's point of view is good business, you should try it moreoften. The cheese curds were amazing!!! I got a fish sandwich & my brother & nephew got burgers. Big portions. I will definitely go... back & possibly even get it delivered sometime. ***Edited because I ordered delivery via EatStreet yesterday*** I decided tohave the fish dinner vs. sandwich, but the website didn't give me the option of grilled vs. batter-fried. I assumed batter-friedwould be the default (because don't most people order batter-fried?), but it was grilled. It still tasted good, though. But theyforgot the salad. And my son and aunt ordered burgers and they said the meat tasted weird, like it had an aftertaste. My wife and i have been testing different restaurants for breakfast, because our little favorite place closed. This place has... huge potential. But they need to tune up the service staff on their overall approach to customer warmth. Service is 2nd biggestkey in this business. Food is 1. I do have to say there are a couple of waitresses that do have there game together ?. Andthis is the only place in town that gets my toast right. But there are a couple old apples that need to uncrust there granniespanties and understand they are in the service industry. After a few complaints. Things kinda changed but it is hot or misswith service. Depending on who you get. Great fish fry and breakfast among other dishes. SERVICE IS EVERYTHING.
