Stopped on suggestion with a large group for a last dinner out in LaCrosse. Very nice outside dining area, but that?s about it.... We were told we could NOT move tables to accommodate our group and would ONLY get a limited menu (appetizers and pizza) due toour group?s size (10). Very disappointed. Read more
We went on a Thursday eve to have dinner an to listen to music. The entrance to the tiki bar is through the lobby of the hotel... which would make it difficult for some out of towners to find. The tiki bar is on the lake and had a fun beachy vibe which Ienjoy. There was volleyball tournament mostly all millennials. There was a girl singer who wasn't that great but listenable,good variety. We had the chix street tacos which were good but took over an hour to get them but was warned when we ordered. Ourwaitress was very personable, professional and took good care of us even though I asked for corn tortillas and got flour but wastoo hungry to send back lol. I went back to Moxie's after realizing that the person I spoke to wasn't the owner/manager the day I had my horrible experience.... After consideration, it's a fine establishment. While I think the food is still on the expensive side, it is a good place tohang out and chat. I think that my previous review was not in good taste. Read more
