Used to go to this restaurant or more often Casa De Bandini when both were still located in Old Town San Diego. Food here is... still quite good and filling. Don't really get the same atmosphere in La Mesa as you would in Old Town although the really tryto recreate it. Definitely one of the best Mexican Restaurant options in San Diego. ???? Read more
I?m working next door to Casa De Pico and I looked at all the reviews and thought I would try it. I got the two carne asada... enchiladas and was a little disappointed. The meat was fatty and super hard to chew. The enchilada sauce was a little too bitterfor me. I also got a dessert and I was a little excited to try the lava cake. I was underwhelmed again.
