Recently stayed in Bayfield for Apple Fest 2022. We went over to Madeline Island and visited Grampa Tony's for dinner. Not only... did we have fantastic pizza, but we had great conversation with the owner. He really made the experience that much better. Lovedit so much we went back two days later for more pizza and another lovely chat with the owner again. Thanks for the hospitality! Read more
Important to know: there can be a wait for food, but it is worth the wait! We stopped this afternoon, and there was a line for... both the food order line and the ice cream line. Both seemed to be moving along just fine. The person taking our order wascourteous and helpful, even though it was clear that it has been a very busy day with less than usual staff levels. We triedthe Italian Sub, served on toasted garlic bread. Really a fantastic choice! The bread was toasted on the inside with garlicbutter and the cheese was melted into the meat. ???? Was it crazy busy? Yes. However, this is a good problem to have sometimes.However, I can say that it is clear that they take pride in their product. We'll visit again! Read more

Nice little restaurant! They have an awesome outdoor seating area. They make their own fresh bread and I had one of the best... BLT's of my life. They also serve some pretty darn good ice cream. Very good prices, well worth checking out! Read more
