Small little restaurant located in the Lacey neighborhood. Several tables inside and various tables outside on the back deck. A... pretty pricey place for Lacey that doesn't meet up to my expectation. It was nice to sit outside but the table was dusty and hadall sorts of tiny bugs. Didn't have their rolls or raw menu. I had their chicken yakisoba noodle, miso soup, and green tea.Everything was average nothing special. The noodle dish was pretty sweet, the tea was nothing like they described and the misowasn't freshly made. Service was friendly but poor. Honestly, for the price tag, I'm expecting better quality, service, andtaste-wise than this. Read more
The sushi rolls were legit. The gps took us on a detour to avoid traffic & I found this on the way. They seem to be running on a... skeleton crew but customer service was still good. They close at 8pm & last call is at 7:30? so show up way before bc we gotthere around 7pm & they turned people away after bc they were so busy. Read more
First time trying, from top to bottom: caterpillar roll, dragon roll, lightning special roll, seared salmon roll. Taste was good... and pretty fresh. The seaweed salad on top tasted odd though, not the freshest. Caterpillar roll was different from what I amused to, it was drenched in too much sauce, probably a little bit less would?ve been better. A lot of Sushi joints out there. Few give you a real Japanese experience. As someone who visited Japan several times, the... setting, the service, and of course the food, is excellent and gives a true Tokyo experience. Once small thing, a grudge I holdfor all Sushi joints in America: cream cheese and Sushi is like Titanic and Icebergs. They should never meet. But that?s me. Ipull it out, and the rest is fine.
